Congratulations on your new brows! Here’s what you can expect in the weeks ahead and how to take care of them for the best, long-lasting results.
Day 1 – Fresh & Bold
Your brows will look darker and more defined than your final result.
Mild redness or swelling is normal.
Follow your artist’s cleaning and ointment instructions carefully.
Days 2–4 – The “Bold” Stage
Brows may still appear dark, even a little blocky.
Skin may feel tight or dry — this is part of the healing process.
Keep them clean, dry, and avoid makeup in the brow area.
Days 5–7 – Flaking & Peeling
You’ll notice some flaking or light scabbing.
Brows may look uneven or patchy underneath — do not pick.
This stage can be the trickiest, but it’s temporary.
Week 2 – The “Ghosting” Phase
Flaking is done, but brows may look too light or faded.
Some areas may appear patchy — this is completely normal.
The pigment is still settling beneath the skin.
Week 3 – Color Starts to Return
Pigment becomes more visible again.
Brows look softer and more natural.
Patchiness may still be visible but will be corrected at your touch-up.
Week 4 – Settled but Not Final
Your brows are healed on the surface.
Shape and color may not be perfectly even — that’s why we have the touch-up session.
Weeks 4–6 – Touch-Up Time
This appointment, while not always necessary, is beneficial for optimal results. This session will perfect your shape and color.
Any gaps, faded spots, or uneven tones are filled in.
After your touch-up, expect a shorter healing process (about 7–10 days).
Ongoing Care Tips
Always apply SPF to protect your brows from fading.
Avoid retinols, acids, and harsh exfoliants on the brow area.
Keep brows out of chlorine and salt water while healing.
Schedule yearly color boosts to keep them fresh.
